Kailash Mansarovar Yatra from Kathmandu by Helicopter

After breakfast, check out of the hotel in Purang. Drive to Hilsa in an AC vehicle. Fly back to Simikot by helicopter and take a flight to Nepalgunj and then to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Relax for some time. On time, our representative will transfer you to the Kathmandu Airport, from where you will take a flight back to your home destination with the divine blessings of Lord Shiva! Har Har Mahadeva!

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to the Kathmandu Airport to catch a flight to Nepalgunj. From Nepalgunj Airport, our rep will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax. You will get a briefing about the Mount Kailash and Mansarovar yatra in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Wake up in the early morning and have a cup of your tea or coffee. Drive to Nepalgunj Airport to catch a flight to Simikot. Rest for a few hours at Simikot. At the scheduled time, you and your group will be transferred to Hilsa by helicopter. The helicopter ride from Simikot to Hilsa offers spectacular views of the mountains and the nearby surroundings. After reaching Hilsa, drive to Purang, also called Burang or Taklakot, which is located in Tibet, an autonomous region of China. On arrival in Purang, check into your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

There will be no activities on this day. Today is reserved for acclimatization so that you can prepare yourself for the upcoming tough journey and treks. However, you can come out of the hotel to explore the local markets. In the local markets, you can buy eatables and essentials useful during the journey. You can also practice trekking today. All meals will be served at the hotel itself. Stay overnight in Purang.

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Check out of the property and start your journey towards Lake Mansarovar by AC bus. It will take around 2 hours to reach Lake Mansarovar by bus from Purang. After reaching, proceed to do the parikrama of Mansarovar Lake. Take a holy dip and participate in puja rituals as per your customs. Complete the parikrama of the holy lake in 2-3 hours, covering around 105 km. Return to Lake Mansarovar and see the first glimpse of the holy Mount Kailash, the abode of Lord Shiva and one of the most sacred places on Earth. Watching the glimpses of the divine Mount Kailash just next to Lake Mansarovar will truly be a cherishable experience. After all these activities, check into your guesthouse. Freshen up and relax, remembering the experience of your Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash Darshan. If weather permits, you can also go to visit Lake Mansarovar at night to experience the divinity of the place. The night also presents the magical view of the lake and the mountain, which is just incredible. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the guesthouse, near Lake Mansarovar.

Wake up in the early morning and proceed to visit Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash during Brahma Muhurat. Experience the divinity of the place and see the magical view of the Golden Kailash changing color in the morning. Return to the guesthouse for breakfast and then take a short drive to reach Darchen. Darchen is the base for the Mount Kailash Parikrama and nearby Ashtapad Darshan. Visiting Ashtapad requires permission from the Chinese authorities. If we get the permission, we will visit it only if permitted. Check into the guesthouse in Darchen. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight will be at Darchen.

In the early morning, drive to Yam Dwar. Take the first step towards the Parikrama of Kailash Parvat and trek for 10 km to reach Dirapuk. Have the darshan of the north face of Mount Kailash. Today’s parikrama is considered to be the most auspicious. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Dirapuk in a guesthouse. Please note: Parikrama is optional. If you do not want to go on parikrama, you can travel back from Yam Dwar to Darchen. We will arrange meals and accommodations there.

Have your breakfast and then start your trek of 22 km from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass. The trek will be challenging due to the ascending and descending trekking routes. From the Dolma La Pass, trek down to Gauri Kund (also called Parvati Sarovar or Lake) and then to Zuthulpukh. On reaching Zuthulpukh, check into your guesthouse. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight will be at Zuthulpukh.

Today is the 3rd and last day of Mount Kailash Parikrama. You will need to cover 8 km, and it will take around 3 hours to complete the parikrama. After the parikrama, drive back to Darchen and meet the members who did not come for the parikrama. Then drive to Purang and check into your hotel on arrival. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Purang.
