Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Lhasa

Begin your day by visiting the iconic Pashupatinath Temple. After darshan and puja, embark on the city sightseeing tour. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Have your breakfast and check out of the hotel. Our representative will drive you to the airport to board your flight to Lhasa. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Himalayas from the flight and land at Lhasa after a 1-hour journey. Upon arrival at Lhasa Gonggar Airport, you will meet our tour representative, who will take you straight to the guesthouse. Check in and relax. In the second half of the day, explore the beautiful Barkhor market and enjoy street shopping. Dinner and overnight stay in the guesthouse in Lhasa.

Today, you will travel to Shigatse from Lhasa by a deluxe bus with fellow travelers. So, enjoy your breakfast and check out of the hotel. Begin your journey to Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet. On your way to Shigatse, you will pass through the beautiful locations, like Khamba La Pass, the holy Yamdrol Lake, and Tashilhunpo Monastery. Upon arrival, you will be taken straight to the pre-booked guesthouse for dinner and an overnight stay.

After having your breakfast and checking out of the hotel, take a scenic drive from Shigatse to Saga, passing through the Tibetan landscapes, witnessing the region’s beauty. You will have a night's stay in Saga at a guesthouse.

Today, you will begin your journey from Saga to Lake Mansarovar. Have your breakfast at the guesthouse and check out. Head towards Lake Mansarovar via the Mayum La Check Post. It is one of the largest checkpoints in Tibet, where all your verification formalities will be completed. After this, continue your drive and have the first glimpse of Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. From here, you will also see the Mt. Guria Mandhata. Begin Lake Mansarovar Parikrama, which will take 3 hours by bus. During the Kora, you will also see the Rakshas Tal. Overnight stay in a guesthouse.

In the morning, you can take a holy dip in the Mansarovar Lake and perform the Puja rituals, hawan, and do prayers to lord Shiva on the banks of the lake. After having your lunch, proceed to your next challenging journey from Mansarovar to Darchen. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the pre-booked guesthouse for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today, you begin your Kailash Kora. So, have your breakfast and check out of the hotel. Take a ride of 15 km to Yam Dwar, which is the gateway to the mighty Kailash. This is the point from which your actual trek will begin. From Yam Dwar, pilgrims will have the first darshan of Mount Kailash. Travelers or pilgrims, who do not wish to trek, can drive back to Darchen from Yam Dwar, and they will stay at the guesthouse in Darchen for 2 days until the rest members of the troop come back from the Kailash Parikrama.

Today is the second day of your trek. Enjoy your early morning breakfast and begin your trek to Dolma La Pass, which is approx. 22 km. And, you will trek about 6-7 km on the second day of the Yatra. The remaining kilometres will be completed later. Begin your trek from La Pass, descend to Gauri Kund, and trek along the glacial river on the way to Zuthulpuk. You will be able to see Mount Kailash facing east. You will stay overnight at a pre-arranged lodge or guest house; the meals will be arranged here only.

Wake up early and have your breakfast. You will trek to the breathtaking location of Shongguo, which is not as challenging as the rest of the places. Once your trek is completed, you will drive to Saga town. Accommodate in the guesthouse for an overnight stay and enjoy your dinner.

After having your breakfast, leave for Shigatse. You will be driven back to Shigatse, where you can explore the markets and enjoy street shopping. Later, get transferred to the pre-booked hotel/guesthouse for meals and overnight stay.

Today will be your last day in Tibet. You will leave for Lhasa after having a delicious breakfast in the hotel. Upon arrival, transfer to a hotel. check in and relax. You can explore the Lhasa market and do shopping. The lunch and dinner will be in the hotel itself. Overnight stay in Lhasa.

Have our breakfast and get ready to travel back to Kathmandu. Our tour representative will drop you off at the airport to board your flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our staff will meet and greet you. He will take you to the hotel to stay overnight. Enjoy the evening, recalling the travel experience with your friends and family, and exchanging pictures with fellow travelers.

This is the last day of your Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Lhasa. Our tour representative will drop you off at the airport to board your flight back home. Return home with unforgettable memories of Kailash Yatra.
