Kailash Inner Kora Tour Package ex Simikot

Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to visit the world-famous Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, which is the largest and oldest temple in Nepal. Located on the banks of the Baghmati River, in the Kathmandu Valley, Pashupatinath Temple is on the outskirts of Kathmandu City. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and devotees from all around the world visit this sacred shrine. After this, visit the Jal Narayan Temple, located just 5 km from Pashupatinath Temple, followed by a visit to Guheshwari Temple. Return to your hotel by the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up early and get ready to embark on the temple tour of Kathmandu post breakfast. Today, you will visit Shri Kailashnath Mahadev Temple, followed by a visit to Doleshwar Mahadev Temple. These two are among the most important and famous temples in Nepal, located on the outskirts of Kathmandu city. Return to the hotel by evening. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

After breakfast, complete the checkout process. Our tour representative will transfer you to the Kathmandu domestic airport terminal to board your flight to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival, our tour representative will receive you and transfer you to the hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight stay and dinner will be at the hotel in Nepalgunj.

Have an early breakfast, or you can take packed snacks and reach Nepalgunj Airport. Board your flight to Simikot. Upon arrival, you will meet the tour guide, who will give you instructions on boarding a helicopter to Hilsa. Upon arrival in Hilsa, the tour guide will give you all the instructions and help in completing the formalities at the Nepal immigration. After this, you will board a bus that will take you to the China Immigration office. From there, you will drive approx. 22 km to reach your hotel in Taklakot. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Taklakot.

Today, you will rest in Taklakot to get acclimatized. Stay in your hotel or just wander outside the hotel to admire the beauty of the region. If you want, you can take a short trek to the markets and shop for essentials, like a stick, a cap, gloves, a hat, shoes, empty water gallons, snacks, etc., for the trip.

Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to embark on the Lake Mansarovar Yatra. You will be driven to Lake Mansarovar by a bus. You will go through beautiful mountains and terrains and reach Rakashas Tal, resting near Lake Mansarovar. It is also known as “Lake of Demons” or “Ravan Tal”, as it was created by Ravana. From here, you will have the first glimpse of Mount Kailash. We will have our first stop at Rakshas Tal, where you can click pictures and capture the beauty of the region, and of course the Mount Kailash. Continue your journey to Lake Mansarovar. Take a holy bath in the lake and perform the Puja rituals on the bank of the lake. After a short drive, we will reach Chui Gompa, where you will stay overnight near the lake. Meals and stay will be at the guesthouse.

After visiting the holy Lake Mansarovar, we will head to our next destination, Darchen. After breakfast, drive to Darchen. Located at the foothills of Mount Kailash, Darchen is the base camp of Mt. Kailash. Upon arrival in Darchen, check into the hotel and have some rest. Overnight stay and dinner will be in the hotel.

Today, your Kailash Kora Tour begins. Wake up early and get ready for the Kailash Parikrama. Pack snacks and fill your bottle with hot water. You will pass through Yam Dwar from where the trek begins. After visiting Yam Dwar, you can have a glimpse of the Mighty Kailash Parvat and do puja rituals. From this point, you will begin your trek, or you can even hire a pony/horse to ride. They will accompany you throughout the trek. After completing the 12 km gradual trek to Dirapuk, you will see the North Face of Mount Kailash on the right side of your trek. After reaching Dirapuk, check into the guesthouse for dinner and an overnight stay.

This is the second day of your Kailash Kora, where you will visit the Charan Sparsh (5475 m is a 3 km trek from Dirapuk). It is the spiritually significant act of touching Mount Kailash, believing that you are touching the feet of Lord Shiva. This is a 3-km trek from Dirapuk, which can take 3-4 hours. Your tour guide will let you know the time to start the trek and accompany you to the Charan Sparsh, which takes you closer to lord Shiva. After the trek, return to the guesthouse in Dirapuk for an overnight stay.

Wake up before dawn to see the magical view of the Golden Kailash when the sunrays first hit the mountain. It will be a memory for a lifetime. After this, begin your trek to Zuthulpuk. This is a 22 km trek, which is the longest and hardest trek of the Kora because you pass through the highest point at Dolma La Pass (5630 m). During the trek, you will see the footprints of Milarepa and visit the Shivasthal, where pilgrims leave behind their belongings, like clothes and gold ornaments, donate a drop of blood, or a lock of hair, which represents the act of leaving this life behind, and achieve salvation. In the Buddhist religion, they believe that you will get everything in heaven after your death that you leave behind here. Explore the Khande Sanglam, Kube Kund, and Kuber Parvat; it is believed that Lord Shiva had meditated in this area. After this, trek to Zuthulpuk, where you will stay overnight in a guesthouse.

Have your breakfast and explore the caves, temples, and shrines built around. After visiting the caves and other shrines, you will end the final trek of the holy Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Later, you will trek about 6 km from Zuthulpuk to reach Chongdo, where the vehicles will be waiting to pick you up. From there, we will drive 6 km to reach Darchen, where the other members of the group, who chose not to trek or came back from Dirapuk, will join you. After this, we will drive to Taklakot for an overnight stay.

Today you will stay at leisure in the hotel and relax after completing the Kailash Mansarovar Kora. Your meals will be at the hotel in Darchen.

Today, you will begin the Kailash Inner Kora. So, wake up very early in the morning and start the inner Kora. You will visit Ashtapad, Serlung Gompa, Saptarishi Caves, Nandi Parvat, Kaleshi Gange, and Atmalingam as part of the Mount Kailash Inner Kora (Parikrama). There are two lakes named White Lake and Red Lake near Atmalingam. You can also explore these lakes. Continue your trek and descend to Sherlung Gompa and finally reach Darchen late in the evening. Overnight stay at the guesthouse/hotel in Darchen.

Have your breakfast and drive towards the China-Nepal border, covering approx. 105 KM. Later, cross the border by walking and complete the immigration formalities, and reach Hilsa. From there, board a helicopter to fly to Simikot from Hilsa. After reaching Hilsa, you take another flight to Nepalgunj. From Nepalgunj, you will take another flight to reach Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our tour representative will transfer you to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Our tour representative will drop you off at the Kathmandu airport to board your flight back to your hotel or onward destination.
