Mount Kailash is considered the most sacred mountain in the world by Hindus, Buddhists, Bon, and Jains. There are different routes to reach Mount Kailash and perform the Parikrama. Some routes make the difficult terrain of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra more accessible through modern infrastructure, while others offer unique experiences in terms of culture, nature, and adventure. One such route is the Humla-Limi Valley to Mount Kailash Trek, which was opened to foreign tourists in 1997. Along with providing easier access to Mount Kailash, this route allows you to explore Humla, a geographically remote region that is culturally rich with diverse flora and fauna.
